Hey everyone! I hope January was good to you all.
I started the year by creating some goals I wanted to achieve (don’t wanna call them resolutions because they do tend to get a bad rep) and it’s been an insightful and fulfilling journey so far. My first step was breaking all my goals down so I had a clear roadmap for each month. This is something I’d recommend to anyone because it makes things a lot easier. Creating a vision board also helps, and it’s a fun process. There’s something really satisfying about collecting all these different visuals that mean something to you and bringing them all together.
One of the things I worked on in Jan was decluttering my room. I’m not done just yet, and I realised I was holding on to a lot of things I really didn’t need, but I’ve made a lot of progress so far.
I’ve also been reading a lot more and enjoying the little things – like just how beautiful the sky is when you stop and really take a look.

January was also about being more intentional when it comes to taking care of myself. So I’ve been doing a lot of the stuff that makes me feel good, and being intentional with making myself feel like the queen that I am (self-love, ladies). These fun activities have included getting my nails done, reciting some affirmations, having long showers in the evenings the slipping into some silk PJs, getting some scented candles, trying out some amazing skincare products and perfumes, waking up earlier, and slowly changing the way I interact with other people, amongst other things.



I’ve often had outfits, accessories and other products I’d keep just for ‘special occasions’. That’s a habit I’ve decided to let go of. It’s always a good time to treat yourself to something nice, special occasion or not. You deserve it.
